Tails Around Town
A Foster Field Trip Program
Our furry friends are ready for a field trip! Palm Valley Animal Center is excited to announce the launch of its Tails Around Town foster field trip program on March 10th, 2019.
This program invites community members to take shelter dogs out on field trips. Outings can last from a couple of hours to a half day. Trips can include a neighborhood stroll, a drive, trip to the beach, a movie at home, even a drink or meal on a pet-friendly patio. Whether you already have a dog, or aren’t quite ready to adopt, it’s a great way to get your daily dog fix!
Taking a dog out for a couple of hours helps us make them more visible to possible adopters. Plus, we learn what makes their tails wag! It’s a great excuse to spend a day doing something new exploring the RGV - even a fun date. Plus, you’ll make a cute new furry friend!
Anyone interested in taking a dog out on the town should e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up.
Participants need to be 18 years of age or older, bring a valid piece of photo ID & sign an agreement. We invite our community to join us as we launch the event at the Laurie P. Andrews PAWS Center, 2451 N Expressway 281, Edinburg, TX 78541 on March 10th @ 11am. The program will continue to run throughout the month of March.

We are also recruiting volunteers for the Tails Around Town program! Volunteers can dedicate as much or as little time as they would like. Program assistants can help distribute flyers in the neighbourhood, create adorable social media posts, or help us sign dogs in and out for field trips. Contact email@example.com for more information.
